Hartsell finished building his own studio called "The Giggle Pit" in 2010 and is currently recording and playing bass for the rock band "Fallen Child".  A 3 song E.P. is slated for release February, 2012.

Van states "Fallen Child consists of myself on bass, Evan Lee on guitar, and frontman Johnny Corbett".  These two are the most talented and dedicated musicians I have ever worked with".  Since the release of Situation Down by Sundrown, in which I played all instruments instead of bringing musicians in, I really developed an appreciation for playing bass.  So its a new realm and with being a part of a group, its made me excited and I'm having fun playing live.  Bass has actually improved my soloing on guitar. I also get a chance to further my experience recording bands".
